Eversolar designed and installed a grid-tied solar PV system for Burgersfort Mall, a busy retail centre serving a growing commercial hub in Limpopo. Located at a key junction connecting major routes, the mall supports a high volume of daily activity, making reliable and cost-effective energy supply essential to maintaining consistent operations. The 479.5 kWp rooftop system was configured to maximise available roof space while delivering stable energy generation aligned with the mall’s daytime demand profile.

Within the first six months of operation, the system produced 345,982 kWh of electricity, achieving 98% of projected generation performance. This strong alignment with expected output supports a projected payback period of approximately 5 years, demonstrating the value of a well-engineered solar solution in a retail environment. By reducing reliance on grid electricity and stabilising energy costs, the installation contributes to improved operational efficiency for a high-traffic commercial property.
